This course introduces the student to the characteristics of land, ownership, and rights inherent in owning real estate, selling and buying procedures, loans and financing, leasing and managing real property, tax aspects of real estate investments, appraising real estate, legal descriptions, land use controls and fair housing laws. This course is the foundation students need to pass the National Portion of the Nebraska Real Estate Licensing Exam. Real Estate Principles & Practices (Nebraska Pre-Licensing Course)

The Real Estate Principles & Practices course is a required component of the Nebraska real estate pre-licensing curriculum and is designed to prepare students for the national portion of the Nebraska Real Estate Salesperson Licensing Exam.
