Pre-licensing education: 66 clock hours approved by the Nebraska Real Estate Commission, consisting of:
- Any two Nebraska Real Estate Commission–approved 30-hour pre-licensing courses
- Course #0003 – the 6-hour course Developing Professional Conduct & Ethical Practices

Background check: Satisfactory criminal background check with the Nebraska Real Estate Commission that is less than 1 year old
Effective January 1, 2026

Pre-licensing education: 96 clock hours approved by the Nebraska Real Estate Commission, consisting of:
- Required Course 1: #0040 – Real Estate Principles & Practices (30 hours)
- Required Course 2: #0047R – Nebraska License Law (30 hours)
